What This App Is

Math Ascent is a mobile game for iOS and Android that combines arcade gameplay with math practice. It is designed for children and families.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Math Ascent does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, location data, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

What stays on your device:

• Purchase status — whether you've unlocked the full game is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Game settings — math operation preferences, number ranges, and other settings are stored locally on your device.
• Game progress — level completion and stats are stored locally on your device.

In-App Purchases

Math Ascent offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Full Game Unlock") to access all content. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not process or store any payment information. Purchase history is managed by the respective platform and can be restored at any time through the app.

Third-Party Services

Math Ascent uses the following platform services:

• Apple App Store / Google Play — for processing in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
• Expo / EAS — used to build and deliver the app. No runtime data collection occurs through Expo in this app.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or any other third-party data collection.

Children's Privacy

Math Ascent is appropriate for all ages, including children under 13. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. There are no social features, user accounts, or external communications of any kind.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. We have no data to delete on our end because nothing is sent to us.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.
